Complete renovation of an existing 46,000 sq. ft., three story, steel framed science facility. The building houses areas for earth and planetary sciences, biology, marine biology, botany, nutrition, environmental zoology, bio-medical sciences, preparation areas, two large multi-media lecture halls, and a library. The project included 100% complete interior architectural renovation, the addition of third story faculty office spaces in an existing exterior corridor, a three story restroom addition on the west elevation. An exterior three story stairway was added to meet present day building codes. The entire structural system was renovated to meet the latest seismic standards. All mechanical and electrical systems were upgraded, including Health, Safety, and ADA Access.
